I think the three most important right in Canada are the following1. Canadian have a right to free speech2. Canadians have a right to free religion 3. Canadians have a right to vote
Canada without Rights If Canadians did not have rights Canada would not be the same because people would not have the right to have a religion let alone practice one. Also Canadians would not be able to have a fair trial so if someone accuses you of a crime you would not be able to prove you're innocent .And you would not be able to vote for are president and that's not good because some of them want stuff to become legal.
5 Thing I Learned About right and freedoms 5 things i learned about Right and Freedoms are the following 1. I learned that you have to have a lot of stuff to have when you go to vote such as some sort of id and Canadians citizenship . . . 2. I also learned that we have 4 governments Federal, Municipal,Shared, Provincial 3. I learned that Canada would be bad without rights.4. Also that people vote for mayor and prime minister 5. Last but not least I learned that the federal government takes care of most of the army and fighting stuff
Five things I learned about the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
These are the five things that I learned about the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms: 1.The first thing that I learned is that we even had charter of Canadian rights and Freedoms I find it weird that I didn’t know about it. 2.I also learned that we have to a right education some countries do not allow girls to go to school and they have to work all day in other countries they are allowed to go to school but they don’t even have a pen and paper and it is not easy to get there either because there are not many schools so some children have to walk 2-3 hours every day. 3. Another thing I learned is that Canadian’s have the right to thought, in some countries if you speek your mind you will be sent to jail. 4.Section 33- the Notwithstanding clause, also known as the ‘loophole,’ this allows the Federal and Provincial governments of Canada to override any of the other rights and freedoms guaranteed under the Charter. Because Section 33 is such a special clause, it has only been used two times in history. The reason it was included when the Charter was created was because it was the only way Prime Minister Trudeau was able to get all the provinces to agree on the Charter. 5.Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau created the charter in 1982. These are the five things I learned about the Canadian Charter of rights and Freedom. -Antonia.
Sorry that I forgot the 5 things I learned about the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms: 1.I learned that there was a Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. 2.I also learned that Canadians can state their opinions if they don’t agree with the Government. 3.Thirdly Canadians have a right to a fair trial if they are accused of a crime. 4.Fourthly I never knew that Canadians have the right to run for elected office. 5.At last I learned that Canadians can choose thier desired religion.-Lucas

Canadian Rights

Using information from the reading and your own ideas, explain which three “rights” are
the most important for Canadians.
Canadians have the right to vote for whom they may want to vote for.
Canadians have the right to choose their own religion.
Canadians have the right to travel throughout Canada without a passport.
If Canadians did not have rights, how would living in Canada be different?
If Canadians didn’t have rights, Canada would be a very different country because
everyone would not be treated the same and wouldn’t be able to have the right to
freedom of speech. -Lucas
